Foodie Call’s Sales Nearly Double Within Past Year

Despite a recovering economy, delivery sales have almost doubled in the past year for Foodie Call, modernizing takeout and delivery for residents, workers and hotel guests in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

The idea of Foodie Call was once a subliminal idea before it became what it has today. “I'm a foodie and used to find it frustrating to have limited food delivery choices in my office where food was brought in fairly regularly,” said Anu Mehra, CEO of Foodie Call. “While I appreciated the free food from the company, it was always the same three to four restaurants and they were not very good. What made it worse was the Administrative Assistant had to personally pick the food up for half of these restaurants which was a lot of extra time and effort for her. I thought it would be much more enjoyable if our company had the option to bring great food in. This small personal irritation for me found its way into my subconscious and when the time came for me to part ways with my last company, Foodie Call was born.”

Through the years, Foodie Call has renovated Charlotte’s takeout and delivery by presenting customers their favorite restaurants’ menus to browse and order online, as well as track their orders. Foodie Call customers can have their favorite meals for dinner without the hassle of boulevard traffic, finding a parking spot, waiting for a table, or locating a menu.
