By negotiating deals directly with merchants, Workplace Perks is able to offer exclusive online retail deals that cannot be found elsewhere. Many Fortune 500 companies have already signed up to become merchants and have given exclusive deals to the soon-to-be launched site. More merchants are scheduled to opt-in to this portal and offer special employee discounts through Workplace Perks.
Workplace Perks is a closed-channel site, restricting access to members based on approved email address or registration code. The limited access of these environments offers merchants a way to promote deals to pre-qualified shoppers without a risk of coupon leakage or channel conflict. The core process of Workplace Perks is patent pending.
