Cincinnati (PRWEB) February 28, 2013
The Cincinnati USA Partnership, the regional economic development initiative directed by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, is pleased to announce that it will be attending this year’s annual South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival in Austin, TX from March 7 to 11.
The Partnership, represented by Tammy Riddle, who leads the economic development efforts for its IT cluster, will focus its attention on digital trends and interactive marketing, with a keen interest on the analytics sessions.
“By attending this year’s festival, we look to stay on the cutting-edge of all the digital and interactive marketing trends that are essential to supporting our BrandHub and tech companies in the region. In particular, we’ll be focusing on sessions that profile the latest innovations in analytics that could support our economic development efforts,” Riddle said. “The Partnership’s goal is to elevate Cincinnati as the top choice for businesses that want to expand or set up shop in the Midwest. We want to use this trip to propel Cincinnati to the national stage as a leader in tech and branding, while also scouting new opportunities to grow the region’s economy and its companies.”
In addition to Riddle’s role as a representative of both the Cincinnati business community and the Cincinnati USA Partnership, she will be contributing brief blog posts from the conference, reporting on the innovations she sees, how she thinks Cincinnati can benefit from the issues discussed at the conference, and how Cincinnati is represented at the conference.
In preparation, the Partnership is sponsoring a networking event in collaboration with The Brandery, CincyTech, Cintrifuse, and Rockfish this Friday, March 1 for all those who will be attending SXSW Interactive. For more information or to attend, visit http://bit.ly/W99z0Z.
The Interactive Festival will feature five days of compelling presentations from the brightest minds in emerging technology, exciting networking events hosted by industry leaders, the SXSW Trade Show, and a lineup of special programs showcasing the best new digital works, video games and innovative ideas the international tech community has to offer.
