Safety Training Seminars is proud to announce that they are now teaching American Heart Association Pediatric CPR and First-aid Classes which are EMSA approved in San Francisco. These courses are specifically designed for those working in the child care field or foster care parents and they fulfill the requirements of Title 22 of the Child care code.

By state law, these CPR and First-aid courses must be 8 hours long and cover all the basics including CPR for infants and children, how to save a choking infant and child, and how to survey the scene. The first-aid portion includes practice sessions on how to use an Epi pen, bandaging, seizures, broken bones, snake bites, spider bites, head injuries, poisoning, and other life threatening emergencies.

These courses are held in 6 convenient Bay Area locations including: San Francisco, Redwood City, Concord, Berkeley, San Jose, and Novato. Students can register for a class on our website or by calling our office.
