Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) February 28, 2013
Last night, Fintech was proud to return as the official cocktail sponsor of the 15th annual Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Military Appreciation Banquet.
The event, held at the Marriot Waterside Hotel in Downtown Tampa, was dedicated to honoring Tampa’s local military personnel for outstanding professional service.
This year’s keynote speaker was Lieutenant General Russel Honore who served in the U.S. Army for over 37 years and is widely known for leading Task Force Katrina after the 2005 hurricanes struck the Gulf Coast. Since his retirement from the service, he has devoted his life to creating a “Culture of Preparedness” in America. Also in attendance were military personnel from Tampa’s MacDill Air Force Base, the Mayor, and several of the city’s most influential leaders.
Fintech, the leading provider of electronic data and payments for the alcohol industry, sponsored cocktails for all attending military personnel as an expression of gratitude for their extraordinary contributions to the Tampa community.
Scott Riley, a veteran and Fintech’s CEO, stated, “It’s an honor for us to be able to show our support and appreciation to all the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.”
