Into Action Treatment Center in Boynton Beach, South Florida, is heading to the mountains this weekend for the 1st Annual National Recovery Ski&RideAthon at Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Into Action Treatment will have to dress warmly as they head to Colorado and the snow. Into Action Treatment is a small 24 bed coed drug rehab center, but they know how to get out and support the recovery community. They are run by the CEO and founder, Andrey Rossin, who started the rehab center last year. The main focus at Into Action Treatment is to help their clients reach long term recovery. The average stay in the rehab industry is 28 days, but at Into Action, their clients are staying a minimum of 45 days with the average being over 90 days.
"We find that our clients have a much better chance of successful recovery if they stay in the center for longer than what other centers are doing. It can be quite a shock at first, but if you think about it 45-90 days is actually a pretty short amount of time in the grand scheme of things. 90 days of treatment is worth it for a life free of addiction in recovery."
At the National Recovery Ski&RideAthon, Into Action Treatment hopes to network and meet other professionals in the addiction field. Recovery is the focus of this unconventional recovery conference and Into Action Treatment is anything but conventional. The conference will consist of Fellowship, Meetings, Lecture, Movies, Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice Skating, Snowmobiling, Dog Sledding, Shopping and Tours of Breckenridge. "This is a great opportunity for the entire recovery community to come together, have fun, and collaborate. Into Action Treatment is proud to be a part of such a fun and rewarding conference. We would like to thank the Harmony Foundation for putting on this event," said Rossin, who is on his way to the conference today.
