After 2012 proved a successful year of business, community service, and leadership for Madden Real Estate, the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce presented MRE with the Bill Stroecker Business of the Year Award at the first General Membership Luncheon of 2013.
The Bill Stroecker Business of the Year Award is presented to a member of the commerce who has contributed a noticeable effort in making the community a better place. Such efforts include community involvement, a solid business reputation, and leadership that focuses on local development and the future of the city.
Welcoming in the New Year on such a high note, Wes Madden, CEO and broker for MRE, said in his acceptance of the award, “I’m privileged to serve our community with so many wonderful people. If someone wants to get involved, Fairbanks is just one of those communities that welcome involvement with open arms—you can give back, you can make a difference.”
Funding for the Salute to Our Military Parade, a winter coat drive, Rotary International and the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce is one way MRE has given back to the community through serviceable contributions.
