“My main objective when it comes to the LGBT community is to empower and motivate; no matter what we go through in life we have to continue going after our dreams.”
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) March 25, 2013
The LGBT advocacy group Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD) is officially welcoming Sebastian C. Alverius, CEO of Sebastian Alverius Media Enterprise, LLC, to their board of directors. Mr. Alverius says, “My main objective when it comes to the LGBT community is to empower and motivate; no matter what we go through in life we have to continue going after our dreams.”
Learning to overcome self-identity issues was a challenge that he too had to overcome, and now Mr. Alverius is fulfilling a mission to motivate his peers to also take that leap over the obstacles of self-hate, self-defeat, and self-destruction.
Sebastian C. Alverius is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and speaker with a number of accomplishments. He gained success by launching for-profit businesses in the areas of men’s apparel, electronics distribution, health and wellness, corporate consulting, and business management. This seasoned business executive creates, achieves, and carries out his dreams one accomplishment at a time.
Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD) has been a force to be reckoned with in recent years. Founded in 1986, Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD) was conceptualized in New York City, a result of the vision of founder, The Reverend Charles Angel who, together with a few of his closest friends, embarked on a mission to empower black gay men. Since its inception, this organization has been fully dedicated to building a platform to help fill the void in the lives of all black gay men, in particular, those they serve daily.
