2012 saw Moneybarn enjoy 77% growth in new business volumes from the previous year. 2013 has started equally well for the car finance company, with January and February's business volumes continuing this trend. To cope with this period of growth, the management team has now been significantly strengthened by the appointment of two key managers.

Andy Thomas, previously Director of Operations at Transcom Worldwide (UK) Ltd, joins as Director of Recoveries and Litigation. Thomas brings over 23 years’ experience in managing a wide variety of assignments in collections, recoveries and litigation.

Bill Scotney returns to Moneybarn for a second time, joining from Hertz where he was Fleet Operations Manager and had responsibility for the acquisition, in life management and de-fleeting of the Hertz UK car and van fleet. Scotney takes up a newly created role of Head of Corporate Risk and Compliance at Moneybarn.

Peter Minter, Managing Director at Moneybarn said of these appointments,

“I’m delighted to welcome Andy and Bill to the Moneybarn team at what is an exciting time in the company’s twenty year history. We've got ambitious plans for the next 12 months and the experience that Andy and Bill bring in their respective areas will be crucial in keeping the momentum going in 2013.”
