Gladstone Homes, longtime developer of high-end, semi-custom single-family homes and townhomes in Chicago’s western suburbs, has opened three sales offices: two in North Aurora, and one in Plainfield.

“With the economy improving and interest rates still low, we’re on track to sell out some of our existing communities by year-end, and possibly add some new ones,” said Gladstone Homes President Dave Bolger.

Two of the recently opened sales offices are in North Aurora, close to Gladstone Homes communities Moose Lake Estates and Windstone Place. The third is in Plainfield, near Gladstone's Chatham Square, Heritage Oaks, and Windemere at Grande Park. All five communities are strategically located in premier school districts and with easy access to transportation, recreation, entertainment and shopping. Prices start at $327,271 and buyers can expect to move into their new, semi-custom home within six months after contract signing.

To sweeten the deal, and for a limited time, Gladstone Homes is paying a portion of closing costs and offering a buy-down on mortgage interest rates, for a potential savings of up to $50,000 per home buyer.

Gladstone communities tend to attract professionals with children who are looking to trade up from their initial home purchase. Around 25 percent historically relocate from Chicago, seeking better schools and more home value for the dollar, according to Bolger.

In addition to two series of homes and nine models, Gladstone Homes offers buyers the chance to customize literally every detail of their new purchase, including floor plans, appliances, fixtures, and finishes. While the choices are staggering, Gladstone makes it easy to access with a portal on its web site allowing homeowners to review and select online. “From anywhere with internet access, buyers can explore and select the full breadth and depth of our many options. Or they can meet in person with one of our design consultants, or do some combination of the two,” said Bolger.

With the real estate market heating up, Gladstone Homes is looking to add new communities, both large and small to its offerings. “We invite inquiries from anyone with land in Chicago’s western suburbs that would be suitable for single-family and multi-family homes,” said Bolger.
