As a provider of event medical services, our goal is to save our customers time and minimize their frustration when planning for and hosting major events — Dee McCluskey, President of MedEvent911
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) March 01, 2013
MedEvent911 continues to grow into one of the country's leading providers of medical standby services. In 2012, the company provided emergency and non-emergency event medical service support for more than 280 events in Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, and Utah. The company's specialized medical staff (including EMTs, nurses, and paramedics) protected nearly 400,000 attendees or participants, providing immediate response and care when the event needed it most, all without disrupting the ability of local emergency services to respond to emergencies.
“As a provider of event medical services, our goal is to save our customers time and minimize their frustration when planning for and hosting major events. We take the burden off them by handling all the details that come with providing on-site emergency medical services,” said Dee McCluskey, President of MedEvent911. “In 2012, we were able to do that for dozens of organizations at nearly 300 different events.”
More than 30 organizations relied on MedEvent911 for emergency medical standby service in 2012, including Arizona Senior Olympics, City of Phoenix, Desert Storm Racing, Grand Canyon University and Grand Canyon University Arena, Home Depot Foundation, In-n-Out Burger, Irish Cultural Center, Kaiser Permanente, Milwaukee Brewers, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Shamrock Foods, Steve Levine Entertainment (SLE), Terrain Racing, Travel Care International, and Warrior Dash.
Demand for MedEvent911's medical standby service is only increasing. Gross revenues for 2012 are up almost 400% from the previous year. Plus, the company more than doubled its event medical service staff in the past 12 months.
The increased demand for MedEvent911's medical standby services required expanded capabilities. In 2012, the company added three emergency rescue vehicles (two ambulances and one all-terrain vehicle), as well as seven full sets of advanced life support gear, plus a full complement of wheelchairs, stair chairs, and other associated emergency rescue and extrication equipment.
That equipment helps MedEvent911 provide immediate access, scene safety, evaluation and stabilization, and emergency medical care to ill or injured event attendees and participants. Emergency medical staff follow all State of Arizona recognized treatment protocols until the nearest or most appropriate 911 EMS transport agency arrives.
With extensive experience and training in urban and rural pre-hospital incidents, MedEvent911 is the perfect event medical service partner for any event to ensure that all of the participants and patrons are in great hands.
