We expect over 10,000 festival attendees to be both surprised and delighted.

Dozens of street painters will be creating art with chalk on May 4, 2013 as the FunWithChalk street painting artists join Soka University's 12th Annual International Festival to create a new "art walk" area near Soka Performing Arts Center.

"We're very excited to welcome FunWithChalk street painters to the International Festival for our first major art walk," said festival co-chair Wendy Harder. "Their art will add so much beauty and interest to our International Festival. We expect over 10,000 festival attendees to be both surprised and delighted."

The street painters will join over 900 international musicians and artists who will be performing continuously on three stages from 10:30-5:30 pm on May 4th. The International Festival is a proud partner of the Orange County Imagination Celebration presented by Arts Orange County and the Orange County Department of Education - http://www.sparkoc.com.

Admission to the International Festival is free, and parking on campus is $10 cash. Over 250 exhibitors will also be showcasing international food, clothing and jewelry. Many local businesses will also be participating, and there will be a children's Adventure Land with inflatable rides and games.

FunWithChalk art work will also be on display on Sunday, May 5th, the day after the International Festival, for those who wish to come back and view the completed work.
