High School Twins Solomon Wolfe and Madeline Angel Maldonado of West Covina debut Zombie movie The Shot of The Living Dead at Art Theatre of Long Beach.

A Bad Gift Production to premiere The Shot of the Living Dead, the latest creation written and directed by high-school student Solomon Wolfe Maldonado. The event held at the Art Theatre of Long Beach Saturday, March 2, 2013 will begin promptly at 12:00 pm (Noon) and will also raise money to help the Art Theatre of Long Beach fund a new digital media projector.

Solomon Wolfe Maldonado has worked on the independent film since junior high school, counting on friends, family, teachers and peers to assist in the film where needed. “The movie is such a big accomplishment for the kids and the community where Solomon Wolfe lives and went to school,” Matt Maldonado, the father of the director mentions. “Making movies; writing and directing are what Solomon wants to do with his life, and he has accomplished a lot with The Shot of The Living Dead,” he replies.

Madeline Angel Maldonado, Solomon Wolfe’s twin sister participated in the movie but enjoys more comedic movies herself. “I think she enjoyed her leading role in the Shot of The Living Dead,” Andrea Maldonado, the twins mother, mentions. “Madeline Angel enjoys comedic acting and musicals, because she is a talented singer, but she adapted well to the zombie storyline” Andrea Maldonado admits.

The only theatre showing Saturday, March 2nd at the Art Theater of Long Beach.

About Solomon Wolfe and Madeline Angel Maldonado

Solomon Wolfe and Madeline Angel Maldonado currently attend The School of Arts and Enterprise in Pomona. The movie was filmed partially and with the help of students and teachers at San Jose Edison Academy in West Covina.

The twins both turned 15 as of January 29 2013. They were born in 1998 in Las Cruces NM but have resided in West Covina since 2001.

Solomon Wolfe plans to continue directing movies and creating film scores; he is passionate about creating film in general.

Madeline Angel is interested in fashion and a career somewhere in that field, but also desires to be a comedic actress or to sing on Broadway as a singer and performer.
