Miami, FL (PRWEB) March 04, 2013
Since Manchester Business School has a center in Miami, it’s only natural that this school would roll out the welcome mat during BritWeek visits Miami, which runs from March 7 – 14.
“Manchester offers their Global MBA program in seven cities around the world,” explains Melissa Holland, the director of the Miami center. “Miami was selected as a location because of the city’s international business focus and that also makes it the perfect location for BritWeek. We’re proud to be a bronze sponsor of the event.”
When you consider that half of Miami’s population was born abroad and that it has the largest concentration of international banks in the country, it’s no wonder the Brookings Institution calls Miami ‘a sophisticated global market.’ In addition, more than 300 British-affiliated companies operate in Florida.
This is the type of environment where The Manchester Business School thrives. The school offers their Global MBA degree at locations in Manchester, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Miami. Designed for international executives, the program combines face-to-face workshops with an interactive online environment. Students can attend all of their workshops in one city or take classes at any of the other locations.
“For future business leaders that operate in an increasingly global environment, the international exposure offered by Manchester Business School’s Global MBA program is invaluable,” says Ravi Gudipati, an engineering team leader for Parker Hannifin Corporation who is enrolled at the Miami center.
Events are planned throughout Miami to showcase British influence in business innovation, technology, trade, design, art, sport, architecture, music, fashion and culture.
