Migraine Treatment Centers of America is pleased to welcome Abram Burgher, M.D. in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) March 02, 2013
Migraine Treatment Centers of America (“Migraine Centers”) is pleased to welcome Abram Burgher, M.D. in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This new and exciting partnership will offer the Omega migraine procedure at Freedom Pain Hospital, the nation's first pain hospital.
Utilizing technology that is similar to a pacemaker, the Omega migraine procedure is used to treat chronic migraine pain through the implantation of a small device. The device confuses the nerves associated with chronic migraine pain, which prevents the pain signal from reaching the brain.
The Omega procedure is covered by most insurance providers for qualified patients, has seen a 90% success rate in targeted migraine conditions, and is designed to provide long-lasting pain relief. Prior to permanent implantation, each patient will undergo a trial, in which they will be able to determine whether the device offers sufficient pain relief and improved function.
The Omega procedure is offering hope, pain relief, and improved function to those who suffer from this debilitating, painful condition. Cynthia B., a migraine sufferer who has undergone the Omega procedure, says, “My professional and personal life has improved dramatically. I have not had to miss one day of work because of migraines. I’ve also been able to get off of all preventative medications.”
