Kure Pain Management, the Mid-Atlantic’s leading authority on pain management, welcomes board certified physician, Mathew J. Abraham, MD. Dr. Abraham recently completed his fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Musculoskeletal Medicine at the Penn Spine Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“We are very excited to add Dr. Abraham to our team. He is an extremely hardworking and dedicated physician. We look forward to the fresh perspective and enthusiasm he will bring to the clinician team,” says Margaret Rose Evans, Director of Marketing/Sales for Kure Pain Management.
Dr. Abraham is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. The focus of his fellowship training was on Interventional Spine and Sports Musculoskeletal Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Dr. Abraham completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Rochester Medical School/Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
He has received many honors and grants including the Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2009 Scott F. Nadler PASSOR Musculoskeletal Research and Education Award. He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS), the North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Medical Association (AMA).
Kure Pain Management has seen significant growth since it was founded by Paul W. Davies, MD in 2003. Today, Kure Pain Management has eight locations throughout Maryland as well as a Physical Therapy center in Annapolis.
