On Thursday, February 28, 2013, Crain's Chicago released a five-minute video piece about NetDryers, a Chicago-based start-up, and its President, George Campbell. The piece can be found on the ChicagoBusiness.com site and is part of the ongoing series, Entrepreneurs in Action, that features the stories of Chicago-based start-ups. George Campbell started NetDryers after spending five years at Dyson helping them launch, sell, and distribute the Dyson AirbladeTM Hand Dryer in the U.S. The video and article can be found here.

NetDryers is an eCommerce site for purchasing hand dryers of many brands, as well as other commercial bathroom accessories like mirrors, grab bars, dispensers, and other products. However, the site is also a resource for people looking for information about hand dryers vs. paper towels, sustainability, cost savings calculations, and strategies for designing effective bathrooms. "At NetDryers, we believe that most bathrooms are an after-thought, and that if you put some intellect towards how you design them, you can substantially reduce the operating costs and improve sustainability by strategically utilizing hand dryers," says George. "We believe that by giving organizations and facility professionals the right information and thought leadership, not only can we grow our company, but also grow the entire hand dryer market. In the future, we expect that more and more bathrooms will feature new technology hand dryers, often as an option to paper, as facilities try to reduce both costs and carbon footprint by reducing the need for paper towels and the labor that goes with them."

The Crain's piece comes only a few weeks after Mr. Campbell and NetDryers were also featured on NPR's All Things Considered in a piece about Excel Dryers and the introduction of new technology hand dryers into the U.S. market.

NetDryers is a Chicago-based eCommerce company that helps organizations reduce their cost and waste streams by incorporating hand dryers. NetDryers carries most of the major hand dryer brands and features best sellers like the XleratorTM (from Excel Dryers), SMARTdriTM and SLIMdriTM (from World Dryer), the Dyson AirbladeTM, the ExtremeAirTM series (from American Dryer), the Tri-UmphTM (from ASI), and the iStormTM (from Palmer Fixture).
