Cumberland Academy of Georgia added a new addition to the school’s Board of Directors this week. Deedra Hughes, founder of Hughes Media, was voted in on Thursday, February 28, 2013. This partnership marks a new level of Hughes’ relationship with the school; she has been involved with it since its establishment in 2008, when she offered the services of her digital marketing agency. The school has continuously used these services since this time, when Hughes Media designed a complete image package and web site for the school. About her new position on the board, Hughes commented: “I am honored to have been voted on to the board as one of the new directors and excited to continue to serve the students at Cumberland Academy.”
The Board of Directors is an imperative part of the school’s goal of providing a supportive learning space for students with special needs. “Our Board of Directors provides immeasurable support for our school, and each individual on it brings unique expertise that we value greatly,” says Debbi Scarborough, “We are very excited to have Deedra on board.”
Deedra Hughes founded her digital marketing agency, Hughes Media, in 2000.
