TaKaDu, a global leader in Water Network Monitoring, announced today the opening of its UK regional office and the appointment of David Kenny as its Regional Director in the UK.
Mr. Kenny is joining TaKaDu from Crowder Consulting, a consultant engineering and software development company specialising in the fields of water supply, water distribution and sewer networks, where he was an Associate Director. Mr. Kenny has extensive experience in leakage consultancy, intelligent water management and software implementation in UK water companies, spanning over a decade.
“The UK is a leading market in applying technology to make water networks more efficient and sustainable, so it is no wonder that UK utilities are among the world’s first adopters of water network monitoring, with the vision of converting their water distribution assets into smart water grids”, said Amir Peleg, Founder & CEO of TaKaDu. “David’s experience in selling, implementing and supporting complex water network software is indispensable, as we look to grow our activities in the UK since this market is a strategic one for us”.
“Water companies in the UK recognize the value of operational efficiency, energy cost issues, water loss reduction and sustainable resource use”, said David Kenny. “TaKaDu’s software-as-a-service approach, which uses data already collected by utilities, provides measureable improvements and positions itself as a leader in the smart water networks space. I am proud to join an industry pioneer that has transformed the way water companies examine and act upon their network data, bringing real efficiencies to its existing customers.”
TaKaDu will be present at the Global Leakage Summit in London, 12-13 March 2013 and will be speaking and exhibiting its solutions at IWEX Water Live, 16-18 April 2013 in Birmingham, UK (stand B60).
