Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, WA, will celebrate International Women's Day on March 8 by hosting its first-ever TEDx event: TEDxForestRidgeSchool.

Our goal is to celebrate this innovative thinking and inspire our young women of the Sacred Heart to dream big, risk spectacularly, fail fantastically and constantly innovate!

Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, WA, will present TEDxForestRidgeSchool - Innovate! on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

At the TEDxForestRidgeSchool event, TEDTalks videos and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. Forest Ridge chose Innovate! as this year's theme in an effort to recognize what it takes to make a positive difference in the world.

"Our speakers represent a cross section of innovative thinking in the Puget Sound region. These women have pushed for change in a diversity of ways all with the goal of changing our world for the better," said Kisha X. Palmer, Director of Women as Global Leaders at Forest Ridge. TEDxForestRidgeSchool is a Women as Global Leaders event.

"Our goal is to celebrate this innovative thinking and inspire our young women of the Sacred Heart to dream big, risk spectacularly, fail fantastically and constantly Innovate! their way forward," Palmer added.
