Bothell, WA (PRWEB) March 06, 2013
Vertafore (http://www.vertafore.com), the leading provider of software that transforms the business of insurance, today announced many milestones achieved in 2012 and kicked off 2013 with including:
- In 2012, more than 1,000 agencies adopted the industry’s fastest growing insurance agency management system, AMS360. This brings the total agencies that have selected AMS360 to nearly 2,500 in the past three years.
- Vertafore’s connectivity and rating solutions, TransactNOW, FSC Rater and PL Rating, enable its agency customers to connect with carriers and MGAs in real-time making it quick and easy for agencies to write and renew personal and commercial lines insurance policies. The company performed a record 50 million agency-carrier real-time transactions in 2012, a 66 percent increase over 2011.
- PL Rating, which recently expanded its footprint to all of the 48 contiguous states, reached a major milestone of 100 million overall transactions in January 2013 since the product’s inception in 2007.
- Continuing its leadership in mobility from 2011 when Vertafore launched Pipeline Manager, in 2012 Vertafore released mobile versions of AMS360 and ReferenceConnect. In doing so, Vertafore enabled more than 150,000 users to conveniently leverage its online solutions via a tablet or smartphone.
Brightway Insurance, the Vertafore customer with the 50,000th AMS360 user, recently filmed a video about the success with Vertafore. There are many quotes about the value of AMS360 including Brightway vice chairman Michael Miller commenting, “Vertafore is an integral part of the backbone of what we are able to do. Without that system and without that partner Brightway could not do what we do today and we absolutely could not accomplish what our business goals are for the future.”
In addition to Brightway Insurance, another agency reaping the benefits of Vertafore solutions is Hawaii’s largest insurance agency, Atlas Insurance. In 2009, the agency purchased Vertafore WorkSmart, which not only eliminated reams of paper, but, more significantly, brought intelligent workflow to the entire organization. The solution enables the agency to automate processes and better manage capacity as they continue to grow.
“The numbers speak for themselves; year after year its clear there is only one vendor insurance agencies trust to help them truly accomplish their business goals. We do this by looking at their challenges holistically, not force-fitting everything into a management system,” said Bruce Winterburn, vice president of industry relations of Vertafore. “We understand the business of insurance better than any technology vendor, and are laser-focused on delivering solutions not just technology that better position agencies for growth.”
Vertafore boasts the industry’s largest independent users group – NetVU. Each year more than 1,500 customers attend the annual NetVU Conference. This year’s conference is taking place in Grapevine, Texas on March 14-16 and will unveil upcoming innovations from Vertafore aligning with its core areas of technology leadership – Mobility, Collaboration and Insight.
“Vertafore continues to be a great partner for Hayward Tilton & Rolapp and the community of agencies we bring together each year at NetVU,” said Stephen Moriyama, executive vice president of Hayward Tilton & Rolapp; vice chairman of NetVU. “This year’s conference is shaping up to be the largest ever and is the premier opportunity to learn from and network with your peers. NetVU is an invaluable resource in ensuring we get the most value from our Vertafore solutions.
