Syracuse, NY-based mechanical contracting firm TAG Mechanical Systems Inc. is pleased to announce that co-owner and vice president Ellis Guiles recently was appointed vice chairman of ACCA’s board of directors. ACCA, the nation’s largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, installed its new board of directors and officers last week at its Indoor Environment & Energy Expo in Orlando, Fla.

A member of ACCA since 2005, Guiles also served on its board during 2012-2013 and serves as chairman of its Building Performance Council. He is past president of the Central New York chapter of ASHRAE and has served on numerous national-level industry committees responsible for developing quality standards in the building performance market.
