Virtrue, an online ID verification provider, today announced strategic partnerships with Ascendify, nowHIRE, i9 Advantage, VoteNet and Diggerslist. These strategic partnerships will leverage Virtrue’s innovative technology to provide greater trust and accountability in hiring and emerging online marketplaces via fast, frictionless verifications of identity attributes, such as an individual’s education and work history.
Ascendify, a social talent acquisition platform and winner of Human Resource Executive’s 2012 Top HR Product of The Year, will integrate Virtrue’s verification technology to provide hiring managers and recruiters with enhanced candidate pre-screening capabilities. Ascendify’s enterprise clients will be able to easily verify a candidate’s background and employment history, even before they apply to a job.

Additionally, Virtrue has struck a re-seller partnership with i9 Advantage, a leading provider of employment eligibility verifications and electronic I-9 compliance.

Virtrue will also partner with Votenet, a leading provider of secure on-demand voting software for private organizations, providing the company with a fast and scalable way to verify the identities of participants in online votes, in particular as it relates to their affiliation with cities, universities, and workplaces.

Virtrue’s innovative ID verification technology can produce verification results in near real time, based on a proprietary algorithmic analysis of user-authorized data, including online social data. Virtrue employs end-to-end encryption on its platform and never asks individuals to share their login credentials to personal accounts with any outside party (including Virtrue).
