Wentworth’s corporate office located in Eatontown New Jersey features numerous amenities and design elements aimed at creating a welcoming environment for visitors, as well as team atmosphere for associates. It represents a tangible example of the culture that has been built and nurtured over the years.
Visitors are greeted by a Wentworth receptionist, relax in a lobby area complete with a flat screen television, and are personally served a Wentworth branded refreshment. In addition to the lobby area, there is a Wentworth branded kitchenette complete with a café style table and chairs where guests are welcome to wait.
The primary office space was designed with a bright, inviting and playful/collegiate/team theme, creating an atmosphere for team building and high energy service. The primary work area is divided into streets, named by the departments occupying each row, complete with street signs. For example, street names include “Motivational Way”, “Enthusiasm Boulevard”, Inspirational Place”, “Creativity Court”, “Profits Way” for Accounting and “Victory Lane”.
The new hire/orientation room, named Boot Camp, features a comfortable classroom environment and state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. The collegiate feel is carried into this room with walls adorned with motivational quotes from famous leaders and historical figures, as well as feedback from Wentworth associates.
The café/kitchen area is fully stocked for food, fun and camaraderie. It includes a monitor/information area for broadcasting important messages, events, birthdays and anniversaries, two flatscreen TVs with Fios, a Wii gaming system, karaoke machine, gumball machine and even a popcorn machine – all available to associates and visitors.
The outdoor seating area, complete with grill and branded Wentworth umbrellas hosts both planned and impromptu BBQs. Associates are welcome to fire up the grill any time they want and enjoy the beautiful shore weather.
The conference rooms include the Bullpen, Bat Cave and War Room. The War Room includes a webcam/large monitor for connecting offices across the 13 state region, allowing for face-to-face strategy sessions and meetings, keeping people and human interaction at the forefront.
The Professional Development Center, currently under construction, will include life-size, accurate replicas of real building/community systems/components and assets including roof cross sections, pool/pool components, landscaping/irrigation, wall cut outs/cross sections, etc. This is where associates, board members and vendors will supplement classroom style instruction with hands-on learning. Each “station” will include a video description and information available on a handheld device along with testing to determine comprehension of the material presented.
