“We’re excited to begin our venture, and we believe that having the expert services of an industry-leader like Silk® on our side reinforces the level of success that we’ll achieve at RE/MAX Fine Homes.” —Chuck Barbera

Silk® Abstract Company announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with RE/MAX Fine Homes, headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Silk®, a national organization providing lender services, such as title insurance, search, REO and settlement services, to the residential and commercial real estate markets, sought out RE/MAX Fine Homes for the alliance in furtherance of Silk®’s strategies to continue to diversify its product and service offerings, and consistent, steady growth.

RE/MAX Fine Homes is owned and operated by real estate professionals, Chuck Barbera and Alison Saunders. Mr. Barbera and Ms. Saunders have combined their industry experience to build a brokerage focused on the high-end, Main Line sales market, and believe that their collective experience and skill coupled with the RE/MAX brand will propel RE/MAX Fine Homes to a leadership position on the Main Line.

RE/MAX Fine Homes, located at 220 Sugartown Road, Wayne, PA 19087, expects its café-style offices to be fully operational in April 2013. Regarding the timing, Ms. Saunders stated “I can’t think of a better time to open a new real estate brokerage than now. So many opportunities exist in today’s market given the current interest rate environment and the upturn in the housing market. Local market conditions have improved significantly, and right now, along the Main Line, real estate is a great business to be in and an excellent way to serve members of our community.”

Speaking of the alliance, Mr. Barbera stated, “We’re excited to begin our venture, and we believe that having the expert services of an industry-leader like Silk® on our side reinforces the level of success that we’ll achieve at RE/MAX Fine Homes.” Ron Wilk, President of Silk®, echoed Mr. Barbera’s optimism, stating that “our alliance with Chuck (Mr. Barbera) and Alison’s (Ms. Saunders) RE/MAX Fine Homes group is another solid step for Silk® in diversifying our client base, and we’re confident that they will achieve even more success in this venture than they imagined.”
