Weston, FL (PRWEB) March 06, 2013
For many of our senior population, navigating the legal maze of documents required for life care planning can be overwhelming and the costs can be somewhat prohibitive. Now there is help. With the aid of The Russo Law Firm in Weston, Florida, Counselors Advocating Resources for the Elderly, Inc. (CARE, Inc.) is launching on March 14, 2013 and all are invited to participate. The official launch party will begin at 5:30 PM at The Russo Law Firm Offices located at 2843 Executive Park Drive in Weston, Florida.
“There are a lot of resources out there to assist various members of our population. CARE, Inc. is the first however, to focus primarily on our Senior Citizens,” said Leila Billings, Founder and Managing Director of the new organization and partner in The Russo Law Firm. “Too many of our seniors are targeted in a negative way. We are changing that. We are empowering them by providing the assistance, support and documentation they need and at no cost to them,” Billings added.
Mary Moreno, Managing Director agrees. “CARE, Inc. is about providing peace of mind so that no one has to feel helpless when it comes to life care planning or communication with those providing for your care. When an emergency situation arises, that’s not the time to realize that you are out of the loop,” said Moreno.
CARE, Inc., is a non-profit organization that provides pro bono legal services to the elderly in the preparation of Power of Attorneys, Health Proxies and other Advanced Life Care Directives. The purpose is to help the elderly or anyone in need of these forms put life care planning options in place before an emergency situation arises and it’s too late.
The Russo Law Firm is proud to be host to the official launch. “There is a huge need out there for the kind of assistance that this organization can give to our seniors. We have heard the horror stories that occur. CARE, Inc. is putting them back in control of their future treatment,” said Anthony J. Russo, Jr., founder of the Russo Law Firm and member of the Board of Directors of CARE, Inc. “Through CARE, Inc., we are making a real difference in the lives of people who have a very real need,” Russo added.
