The Sister Accord: 51 Ways to Love Your Sister, the debut book from Sonia Jackson Myles, is now available at Barnes and Noble, Joseph Beth Booksellers, http://www.thesisteraccord.com, Amazon.com, and as an ebook on iTunes. The book, focused on educating girls and women on the importance of supportive, loving and positive reciprocal relationships, is transforming lives one girl and one woman at a time.

“We have a real problem in our society where women bullying other women and girls hurting other girls is portrayed as acceptable and as the norm,” said Jackson Myles. “We hear the stories, we see it on TV and the internet. This is unacceptable. My intent is to show girls and women that you can live a more productive and fulfilling life when your relationships are healthy. We know that the stresses of life can be more effectively managed when you have a trusted friend to encourage and help you get through the difficult periods. My goal is to have 1 BILLION girls and women live the principles of The Sister Accord. Imagine a world where this is our new reality!”

“I think Sonia is doing amazing work - she is revolutionizing the way we think about each other as women,” said Terry Ellis, member of the Grammy nominated group, En Vogue, whose sisters and mother are in the book with her. Terry is also a Board member of The Sister Accord Foundation. “Sonia is bringing femininity back to women through how we support each other and how we communicate and relate to each other. I am so honored to be part of the project.”

Some of the other celebrities included in this beautiful tribute to Sisterhood are: Hoda Kotb, Jane Lorenzini, Tatyana Ali, and Mikki Taylor.
