Behavioral Tech has received an overwhelming response to a new program that is designed to help independent practitioners build and maintain an effective DBT practice with an ongoing consultation team. The training was developed in response to the high demand from clinicians who want Intensive Training but do not have access to a consultation team.

A DBT consultation team is a crucial part of the evidence-based treatment model that has proven effective for clients with characteristics associated with borderline personality disorder (BPD), including impulsivity, interpersonal problems, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and suicidal behaviors.

With careful consideration to the fidelity of the treatment, Behavioral Tech developed a two-year training program that will match individuals to create DBT Consultation Teams, prepare them for ten days of Intensive Training through online Learning Communities, and provide expert consultation every step of the way.

The application deadline for this training is March 25, or until all spaces are filled, and they are filling quickly. Behavioral Tech looks forward to developing new DBT Consultation Teams in support of the company’s mission to provide compassionate and scientifically valid treatments to every person with complex and severe mental disorders.
