A recent infograhic from freshome.com looked into Purchasing Trends in Home Décor. The image reveals some interesting data about consumer behaviour in the UK regarding interior design. It showed that the three most prioritised rooms were the kitchen, bedroom and kid’s room. Despite 48% of women making their own décor decisions compared to 26% of men, it is actually the male half of the population who are more likely to take a week off work to redecorate. 55% of men claimed to do this in comparison to 45% of women.
With this in mind, the team at Lights 4 Living got thinking about how people could make smaller changes to their home that still make a difference. Lights 4 Living provides an extensive range of indoor and outdoor lights, including wall lights, ceiling lights and picture lights. A representative from the firm shares their thoughts on the matter.
“We all know how precious time off work is, and very few people enjoy using up an entire week on redecorating. There are smaller ways you can change the look and feel of your home however. The right lighting can completely transform the atmosphere of a room, and make it appear larger than it really is.
“We’ve got a great variety of lights that can suit any interior, whether you prefer modern or traditional, subtle or extravagant. Why not pick a theme and carry it on throughout your home?”
