The Sales Leadership Forum brings together Industry Experts to discuss the future of Sales

We go beyond simply identifying issues to generate ideas and share best practice, providing real solutions

On 20th March the Sales Leadership Forum, hosted by Pareto, will bring together a spectrum of business leaders from across a range of industries to discuss ‘How to Develop and Retain Sales Superstars’ in a fast-changing UK marketplace.

Following its successful launch in November 2012, the Pareto Sales Society is set to welcome guest speakers, clients and industry experts to London’s Tower of London Double Tree Hilton. The event will be chaired by Bryn Thompson, Sales Director of Pareto Managed Services and guest speakers will include Chris Malyon, Director of Sales and Marketing for DSV and Ben Turner, Director of Sales for the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM).

“The Pareto Sales Society seeks to create a platform from which business leaders from a diverse range of industries can learn from the success of others and discuss current challenges in the UK business market,” Bryn Thompson explains.

“At the Sales Leadership Forum, we go beyond simply identifying issues to generate ideas and share best practice, providing real solutions that will impact upon the sales arena and drive business performance. It’s a practical sales leadership forum led by clients, for clients and answers the need for an executive-level platform within an industry that is evolving and changing at a rapid rate.”

Chris Malyon of DSV will open the event by sharing his personal experience of leading a sales team within the Logistics industry, revealing how his company went on to win two major industry awards last year for Staff Development.

Chris will be followed by Ben Turner, who will present on the fast-growing role of ISMM qualifications within the sales industry, investigating the impact of a formally qualified sales force upon talent development, recruitment and retention levels in the UK B2B marketplace.

The increased demand for sales qualifications over the course of 2012 is a trend set to continue over the course of the forthcoming year, as UK business moves away from traditional selling techniques towards a more professional solutions-based approach to B2B sales.

Debate will set out to discover new trends and developments in the industry, while recurring topics of interest set to take centre stage will expand upon retention, accreditation, sales training and staff development in the UK business marketplace.

The event will conclude with networking and drinks on the hotel terrace, with the impressive skyline landmarks of The Shard and The Gherkin in the heart of the City.
