If we can inculcate the habit of reading while teaching them acceptable behavior, it’s a win-win situation for both parent and child.

Parents of toddlers with aggressive temper tantrums may have found a solution, thanks to Amy Bowen's new children's book, "Lucas, Stop Hitting Your Head Against the Wall." Bowen hopes that parents will use this book available at the Amazon Kindle bookstore send the message across that temper tantrums are not acceptable behaviour.
"I had a difficult time telling my son not to hit his wall whenever he got upset. One day I came up with this book and showed it to him. He loved the story so much his behavior improved," says Bowen.
Bowen, who is also a parent of 2 other children, believes that toddlers like hers find it easier to associate themselves with the books’ characters. This makes it easier to send a message across. Even though this book was launched only recently, Bowen believes that it is already a success as it helped her correct her son’s aggressive temper tantrums.
Will she write more of such children’s books?
“Definitely. I believe a lot of parents go through the same experiences as me. If we can inculcate the habit of reading while teaching them acceptable behavior, it’s a win-win situation for both parent and child,” claims Bowen.
“Lucas, Stop Hitting Your Head Against the Wall” is exclusively available for at download the Amazon Kindle bookstore. Bowen calls out to parents to leave a review for her book, as it will be a form of support for her to write more books for toddlers.
