The American Telemedicine Association’s free monthly videocast, “This Month in Telemedicine,” has been a stellar success, with hundreds tuning in each broadcast for the latest news and policy updates impacting telemedicine and mHealth. The videocast airs live each month and focuses on federal and state policy developments, innovative payment mechanisms, funding opportunities and other high-impact issues in the field. The variable format includes presentations and interviews, as well as live question and answer sessions with the viewers.

“ATA launched ‘This Month in Telemedicine’ as a free resource for the telehealth industry and the response has been amazing; the viewership has grown each month,” said Jonathan Linkous, CEO of the American Telemedicine Association. “This illustrates the growing interest in telemedicine, as well as the need for authoritative analysis on the market and public policy initiatives shaping the field.”

“This Month in Telemedicine” is a free videocast, open to ATA both members and non-members, as part of ATA’s ongoing mission to promote the full global deployment of telemedicine technologies and services.
