See Quickly. Act. Quickly.

ActionPacked! Networks, the leader in quality-of-service (QoS) network management software, today introduced new LiveAction® Net Flow and System features to further enhance its in-depth network awareness and end-to-end traffic flow visualization. These latest LiveAction offerings provide IT professionals seeking a simpler way of managing complex networks with an easy, accurate, and comprehensive network management tool that helps them to topographically analyze network and application traffic as well as QoS performance in real-time and with historical data to quickly resolve network issues.

A new LiveAction feature is the Cisco® Interoperability Verification Tested (IVT) certified Cisco Media Services Interface (MSI) endpoints capability in the NetFlow system topology view, including support for retrieving performance monitoring and flow data. This feature has an added capability to execute Mediatrace to MSI endpoints. Cisco MSI embedded endpoints and applications are tightly integrated with the network to help:

  •     Reduce costs of deploying and managing video endpoints
  •     Quickly troubleshoot issues and cut operational costs
  •     Detect network issues while they occur for immediate remediation and improved user experience
  •     Enable the network to accurately apply network services to enhance user experience

LiveAction now also offers enhanced filtering and drill down feature capabilities that help generate quicker flow reports and provides multi-dimensional visual assessments into the flow system view. To simplify analyzing application traffic, LiveAction displays new NBAR data in a combined application field on the device view, system table, and flow dashboard. Along with these enhancements, LiveAction is now the only network management tool that stitches flows crossing trunks to enable users to see flows traversing port channels and trunks.

At the system level, LiveAction has a new time saving Find IP/MAC address tool available in the QoS, Flow, LAN, IPLSA, and Routing tabs. In addition, new LiveAction server management features include the capability to mount backed-up flow and alert data through the Management Console and a demo user role for monitor-only demonstrations and evaluations.
