The NFL Business of Music Boot Camp invited Music Executives Romereo Hartfield of Millennium Multi-media Inc. and Azim Rashid of Atlantic Records to be mentors to some of their NFL Players who are inspiring to learn more about the music business. The objective of the mentoring program is to provide the NFL players with a mentor that will help prepare them for success in the music industry long after the boot camp has ended. Players will be able to take full advantage of this valuable resource and build a strong relationship with their mentor. Romereo Hartfield and Azim Rashid as mentors will educate, train, guide, and prepare their mentees for this next chapter in their lives in the music business.
The NFL Business of Music Boot Camp at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music features interactive workshops on all aspects of the music industry including production, artist development and management, digital music, publishing, marketing and touring. The four-day boot camp will take place March 18-21, 2013. During the boot camp, students will be provided with the necessary skills - business, creative, intellectual and social skills - so that they might succeed as leaders in an evolving music industry. He also markets and promotes current single releases as well as album tracks for the labels roster at Urban and Rhythmic radio stations nationwide. In addition to securing airplay at radio stations, Azim continues to work with artists during promotional and paid tour support dates after the commercial release of the artists’ projects.
