One of the aspects of pursuing a meaningful life is scratching your intellectual itches.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 11, 2013
On March 7, 2013, co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton of BusinessRadioX®'s Atlanta Business Radio sat down with Randy Hain of Bell Oaks Executive Search to discuss finding quality talent in today's economy as well as Hain's newly published third book, "Something More."
As the Managing Partner and a shareholder of Bell Oaks Executive Search, Randy Hain has an established track record of leading successful searches and building teams in a broad diversity of industries and functional specializations. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Bell Oaks, Hain has played the lead role in hiring, training and developing one of the most successful Search Consultant teams in Atlanta.
While discussing the effect today's economy has had on the job market, Hain explained, "A lot of our clients have been replacing people - there hasn't been a lot of new job growth." Hain went on to say, "Our biggest challenge is finding clients who are really serious and interested in finding the right talent and working with them."
Kantor acknowledged Hain's interest and work in developing leadership and growing leaders and asked about Hain's strategy. Hain pointed out the differences in the generations in today's workplace and said, "Rather than pointing fingers or saying youth need to grow up, established business folks need to reach out and help them to learn leadership skills and help them manage expectations."
Payton called attention to the fact that Hain has just written and published his third book, "Something More: The Professional’s Pursuit of a Meaningful Life," a book Hain describes as a labor of love written in response to the professional’s need for a more meaningful life. It is a guide for the journey for current and future generations who will one day arrive at a place in their lives where they desire to do something more, rather than simply make a living.
According to Hain, "One of the aspects of pursuing a meaningful life is scratching your intellectual itches." This book features interviews and practical lessons from professionals, who through their personal journeys, have found the paths which lead to more meaningful lives.
