We believe that the business of being a photographer can be simplified and less time consuming, our goal is to help reduce stress for photographers, and let us all get back to capturing memories and being creative.

Norfolk, Virginia (PRWEB) March 11, 2013

Bryan Brough was looking for an easy way to unify his schedule and the details of his client's weddings on his iPad. His searches yielded programs that were complicated, not mobile-friendly, and took too much time to customize for his wedding business. Already an entrepreneur, he decided to build Go Wedding Pro (http://www.Goweddingpro.com) from scratch, based on his own needs and the feedback from other photographers. Bryan took the idea to Start Norfolk 2.0, a business pitch competition, and was judged among over 100 other ideas in a single night. He was not chosen to be among the finalists, but that did not deter him from continuing to develop the idea. In January 2013, he was accepted into Hatch (http://www.Hatchnorfolk.com), an accelerator program based in Norfolk, Virginia, where he works with the area's best mentors in business and technology to refine his service.

Go Wedding Pro is a web-based service directly aimed at helping wedding photographers organize key components of their business. Weddings can be large events involving many people, multiple locations, and can change at any moment. In order to be organized on the go, Bryan developed the following features:

  •     An easy to use calendar system for keeping track of clients and their photographic needs
  •     Client profiles that track the important day of wedding details
  •     Workflow tracking
  •     An easy to use and intuitive mobile interface

Bryan says: "We believe that the business of being a photographer can be simplified and less time consuming, our goal is to help reduce stress for photographers, and let us all get back to capturing memories and being creative". He hopes that whether you are an industry veteran or a new photographer going into business for the first time, Go Wedding Pro will save you time and keep you more organized. He doesn't want anyone juggling multiple calendars, scrolling through spreadsheets, or searching inboxes to keep their business going from day to day.

Go Wedding Pro is currently in development and will be released in Beta by May 2013. Sign up today for a no-commitment free trial at http://www.goweddingpro.com.
