The Bio-Geographical Sciences Journal EurekaMag was launched in November 1998 as the online version of the French science magazine "Eurêka - Le magazine des sciences" published by Bayard since 1995. During the past 15 years, it has developed into a comprehensive aggregator of references in biology, in the applied life sciences agriculture, horticulture and forestry, in the earth sciences, in the environmental sciences, and in the health sciences.
The site has now newly published a total of 1,089,013 short, one-page bio-geographical reviews based upon its stock of over 36 million references covering these basic and applied sciences. The new category provides these summaries sorted in alphabetically order. Since a majority of the basic references are unique to EurekaMag.com, the content of these entries are unique too and can, thus, not be retrieved anywhere else on the Internet.
