US Storage Centers Management Company (USSC) and Westport Properties, Inc. (WPI) continue to expand 3rd Party Management Division in Arizona

US Storage Centers Management and Westport Properties, Inc. own and operate over 70 self storage properties in 11 states across the US. USSC is currently seeking new acquisitions, development and management opportunities. US Storage Centers Management made a decision to enter the Arizona market and has recently added 7 properties to its management portfolio.

US Storage Centers has been chosen as the third party management company for 7 additional storage locations in AZ. The facilities operate under several different names, including US Storage Centers, and are owned by 5 different groups. The USSC management platform will be utilized at every property. The facilities are located in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe and Lake Havasu City and consist of approximately 3,500 units and over 520,000 rentable square feet. These properties help to expand US Storage Centers Management’s presence in AZ and are part of the company’s plan to continue to grow their 3rd Party Management division.

Included in the transfer was the implementation of the advanced sales and web platform that US Storage Centers has developed over its 27 years in the self storage business. US Storage Centers will modernize the marketing and advertising programs for all of these self storage facilities. This was a key in each owner’s choice to partner with US Storage Centers Management for the day to day operation of their facilities.

US Storage Centers owns, operates, and manages approximately 70 self storage facilities across the country in a total of 11 states with a concentration of locations in the Northeast, Florida, California, Texas, Tennessee, Colorado and now Arizona. They plan to expand their operations in each of these areas within the coming year. With more than 50% of their portfolio as owned assets, US Storage Centers Management takes the approach of managing the facility with the same focus as they manage their owned locations.
