They took the first steps in to the snow sports industry by passing their level 1 ski and snowboard certifications. This means that they had successfully demonstrated they can ski and ride to the level 1 standard set by the governing bodies CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) and CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) as well as successfully delivering lessons to teach a complete beginner how to ski or snowboard.

All students that had enrolled on to NothinButSnow's ski instructor courses or snowboard instructor courses at Big White Ski Resort, in British Columbia, Canada had passed with flying colours.
