UK based Mothercare, a specialty retailer of parenting and children's product is recalling four of its travel swings. The recall website for the product said swings that are returned will get a full refund.
The swings are being recalled because there is a risk that a child could cause the swing to fall forward or tip.
When choosing a swing, parents should carefully evaluate the choices.
A five-point harness keeps a baby more safe and secure. For these reasons, Kids II requires 5-point harnesses on all swings.
Parents must also check the swing frame. A wide base helps keep the swing steady while a child moves around in it. The frame should also be made out of durable material.
