Hayes and Jarvis Launch Facebook Mini-series on Tailor-made Holidays

The luxury long haul specialist will be documenting some of its most spectacular tailor-made offerings this week on its official Facebook page.

As reported last week, holidaymakers are showing an increased propensity to opt for more customised holidays. Itineraries such as tours and multi-centre holidays allow customers to see more of a region or country in a single trip, ideal for those that want to explore and get under the skin of their chosen destination. Moreover, customers are handing responsibility over to tour operators to structure their itineraries, relying on travel experts with in-depth knowledge to pick the best resorts, towns, cities and sites to visit.

Hayes and Jarvis are proud to be able to offer adventurous customers a tailor-made service, allowing them to put together their ideal trip, with the help of an in-house travel designer. The options are virtually limitless and keen travellers have the opportunity to visit ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destinations which may not be traditionally considered as holiday destinations.

Throughout the week, Hayes and Jarvis will be informing customers of some of the breathtaking itineraries that are on offer on their Facebook page and will be asking their customers to suggest their dream itinerary for each destination. All itineraries will be judged by the in-house team at Hayes and Jarvis and a winner will be announced on Sunday 17th March.

Some of the itineraries on offer include:

Myanmar

This mystical country nestled in the heart of South East Asia hides some enchanting cultural and architectural secrets. Unlike more historically popular Far East destinations, Myanmar has only recently opened up to International tourism and, as a result, is the perfect place to experience a slower-paced more traditional way of life. Consider combining the laidback Orient Express Road to Mandalay Cruise with a tour of the ancient temples of Bagan and Shwedagon.

Nepal

Nepal is home to Everest, the world’s tallest mountain, a majestic site in itself, but this small country has plenty more to offer. A trekkers dream with snow-capped peaks and lush valleys, Nepal is ripe for exploration. Experience the ornate, ancient temples, quaint towns and diverse range of wildlife, or take on the ultimate challenge with a once-in-a-lifetime Everest base camp trek.

Namibia

The African continent has vast swathes of natural wonders just waiting to be discovered. Namibia hosts some of the continent’s most spectacular sites, boasting diverse environments ranging from rolling dunes to arid canyons. Visit Kolmaskop Ghost Town, the eerie Skeleton coast littered with shipwrecks, or spot the big five at the Etosha game reserve.

These are just a handful of the exciting destinations available with Hayes and Jarvis.

Although Vietnam is becoming increasingly popular as a tourist destination, it remains wholly unspoiled and offers an authentic, sensory experience for keen explorers. From the haunting Cu Chi tunnels which are a stark reminder of the Vietnam War, to the beautiful virgin beaches at Nha Trang and Phan Thiet; Vietnam is a land of contrasts. Explore the meandering Mekong River or marvel at the French colonial influences apparent in Hanoi’s old quarter.

A holiday to South America promises a fantastic journey of incredible landscapes, vibrant cities and rich cultural heritage. Soak up the atmosphere of Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro and take in the magnificent sight of the Iguazu Falls. Or discover the captivating country of Peru, visiting the impressive Inca ruins of Machu Picchu and admiring the mesmerising scenery of Lake Titicaca.

These are simply suggestions; Hayes and Jarvis’ tailor-made holidays are fully flexible and built around the needs of each individual customer. Whether the customer has an itinerary in mind and needs a helping hand to perfect their holiday, or they have no idea where they want to go or what they want to do and are looking for some inspiration, Hayes and Jarvis’ travel designers are on hand to help.
