I pray that in seeing what has happened in my life, readers will realize the possibilities are endless in their own lives when it comes to God’s blessings.

For some, inspiration comes from a song or a painting, but for Leta Rae Pereira inspiration came in the form of the supernatural.

In her new poetry collection The Message Maker, author Leta Rae Pereira offers messages composed from God, “the message maker,” on the range of human experiences.

“I pray that in seeing what has happened in my life, readers will realize the possibilities are endless in their own lives when it comes to God’s blessings,” says Pereira.

The poems – ranging from topics including forgiveness, trust, relationships, illness and choices – help open the doors to a strengthened relationship with Jesus. They represent a testimony of God’s faithfulness to respond to whoever chooses to call upon him.

Pereira, who wrote about one poem each month for years after instantaneously receiving the words to write on the page, accompanies each poem with a brief note of insight or background with context to share more information about her powerful experience.

Pereira, who also felt called to her current position helping women in crisis pregnancy situations, infuses biblical scripture throughout her work.
