He has more than 18 years of industry and consulting experience in strategic planning, business operations, vendor management, strategic sourcing, outsourcing, procurement, business process improvement and transformation. He will be speaking on Essential skills Vital to the IT Procurement Expert: How to Develop Talent in an Organization. Byron will discuss the critical elements of global workforce planning in the short and long-term for an organization to optimize their investment in new technologies.
Cynthia Garcia is Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing at Stewart Title. She has extensive experience in negotiating integrated systems solutions for mainframe, midrange, and distributed software, and for voice, data and video networks. Her contracts demonstrate her expertise across all procurement phases for the telecom, banking and software industries for various technology contracts, including software licensing and intellectual property ownership, hardware and professional services contracts. She will be speaking about Doing Deals with ROI in Mind: IT Sourcing and Procurement as a Capital Investment - How Procurement Professionals Can Make a Financial Case for IT Products.
