Top Five Restaurants in the World Feature Ventisquero Wines

Viña Ventisquero becomes the first ‘New World’ winery and the only Chilean winery to be featured on the wine lists of the world’s five best restaurants.

Viña Ventisquero, a leading producer of estate and single vineyard wines from Chile’s most prestigious wine growing regions achieves a historic milestone this month as the first ‘New World’ winery and the only Chilean winery to secure placements on the wine lists of the world’s five best restaurants as selected by the prestigious British publication Restaurant Magazine. Organized by Restaurant Magazine, ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list is adjudicated by an academy of 837 members across 26 geographical regions around the world, each selected for their expert opinion of the international restaurant scene. From this March, Ventisquero wines will be included on the lists at Noma (Denmark), El Celler de Can Roca (Spain), Mugaritz (Spain), D.O.M. (Brazil) and Osteria Francescana (Italy).

“Reaching one of the top five spots on the prestigious list of ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ is an undisputed reflection of culinary excellence at a global level,” remarked Viña Ventisquero General Manager, Martín Silva. “To be included on the wine list of this closed circle of restaurants is an extreme honor and a recognition of the work we have done to produce high quality wine, of Viña Ventisquero’s young, creative team of winemakers and of our goal that always looks towards excellence, to going one step beyond.”
