We are excited to welcome Jonathan to our team at Phoenix TS. We are sure he will not only be an asset to our students throughout their learning process, but will also increase the value of our already excellent training classes.”
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) March 14, 2013
Phoenix TS recently added a new in-house Technical Trainer to their team. The Maryland-based IT training and certification center states that this addition will increase the quality of training and expertise they provide to their students. Phoenix TS believes the addition of Jonathan Jenkins, a field expert in cyber exploitation, will bring extensive hands-on understanding to the network and security based courses, and provide students with the best possible training experience.
Prior to joining the team at Phoenix TS, Mr. Jenkins spent years working as a cyber-operator with the United States Army. During this time, he worked as a hardware and software exploiter and has extensive experience deciphering software codes, as well as assessing and responding to network breaches.
Mr. Jenkins also helped build a cyber-training program for United States Army soldiers, located at Fort Meade, MD. He first designed and created the Linux virtualized network which would be used as the training platform. Then, in order to train others through this program, he came to Phoenix TS and received certification for his knowledge in CompTIA Network+ and Security+ and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH). Through the Army’s Training Pipeline, Mr. Jenkins instructed hundreds of soldiers in exploitation knowledge and hands-on skills; and ultimately helped create the Army’s first cyber brigade training program.
Since beginning this program in 2011, Mr. Jenkins has also received training and subsequent certifications in CNDA and Cloud Essentials. His extensive experience both in the field and in the classroom will make Mr. Jenkins a valuable asset to the Phoenix TS team. Students will gain invaluable hands-on experience through his teaching methods and will be provided the skills they need to succeed, not only on certification exams, but throughout their careers.
Phoenix TS CEO and Co-Founder Ben Tchoubineh said this about the company’s recent addition, “We are excited to welcome Jonathan to our team at Phoenix TS. We are sure he will not only be an asset to our students throughout their learning process, but will also increase the value of our already excellent training classes.”
Given his background and his position as the new In-House Technical Trainer, Mr. Jenkins will instruct courses focusing on network and cyber security.
