The “Medical Care Companion”, software containing a series of applications embedded in the Google Nexus tablet, is the latest in legal marketing and management. PILMMA is spearheading the drive to get the tablet into the hands of its members. The integration of the Google tablet with other Google features such as Gmail, Google docs, chat and calendaring make the Nexus an ideal tablet for injury case communication and management.
Attorney Larry Disparti, one of the attorneys Hardison has partnered with on this technological venture, has been using the Google tablet with his clients and has only seen the upside.

In addition to improving attorney-client communication, the Google Nexus features applications that enable the client to keep a video and photo diary of their injury or resulting disability. The system also boasts applications that track doctors’ and lawyers’ appointments. The “Healing” app, perhaps one of the most unique features of the “Medical Care Companion”, is full of spa-like sounds and visuals geared toward promoting well-being and relaxation.
