Service Stampings, an Ohio-based leader in precision metal stamping, recently achieved ISO certiication.

Certification by an impartial third party like QMI-SAI Global, North America’s leading management registrar, is tangible proof of our ability to incorporate key quality practices into our day-to-day operations.

Service Stampings Inc., an Ohio-based metal stamping manufacturer and steel fabricator, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification.

With 55+ years of experience, Service Stampings already followed a robust quality management system that included:

“Maintaining a strict level of quality, plant-wide, from the beginning of each project to the end has always been a priority for Service Stampings,” said Rob Stohlman, Vice President of Sales for the Willoughby-based metal stamping manufacturer.

While Service Stampings has received numerous quality awards from its customers, the company felt that ISO certification would be an important validation of its quality management system, he said.

According to QMI-SAI Global, the ISO 9001:2008 standard is based on eight quality management principles:

ISO 9001 covers all aspects of a company’s activities, from initial contact with a customer or prospect through product delivery and on to customer service. “Our certification clearly demonstrates to our current and future customers that Service Stampings is committed to quality,” Stohlman said.

He noted that adhering to the ISO standard provides important benefits:
