Venetian Builders, Inc, Miami, the leading installer of custom sunrooms, screen enclosures and patio covers in South Florida, has expanded sales and installations into Oakland Park, Broward County, Venetian President Christopher Noe said today. Noe called expansion of sales into Oakland Park a logical step after the company opened a warehouse and fabrication facility there in 2012 and has begun construction of an office at that location.

Oakland Park, Broward County, is the latest site for expansion of sales and installations by Venetian Builders, Inc., Miami, the fast-growing installer of custom-designed sunrooms and screen enclosures in South Florida.

Christopher Noe, president of Venetian Builders, said he expects continued sales growth in Broward after record volume for the company there in 2012.

“We build the ideal Oakland Park sunroom as we would the best addition for Pembroke or Davie,” Noe said, pointing to two Broward communities where sales soared last year. “We bring a wide array of design options and materials right to the customers’ doors to experience before they order. The result is a custom design that’s right for any homeowner’s needs and budget, for the house and for the neighborhood. That’s a big reason, along with an insistence on quality, that our business is increasing so rapidly.”

Oakland Park’s older, smaller ranch homes cry out for more space, Noe said. “We have considerable experience in similar communities installing carport roofs where garages were lost to conversion, and adding living area with aluminum or insulated patio covers and sun room or patio additions,” Noe said. “Pool enclosures, of course, are a near necessity in Florida.”

Last year, Venetian sales in Broward County exceeded sales in Venetian’s original territory in Miami-Dade County, despite record sales in Miami-Dade.

Broward County sales and installations totaled 50 percent of Venetian’s residential business in 2012, Noe said. Overall, Venetian residential sales and installations increased 86 percent in 2012, Noe said.

Sales volume was led by increases in sunroom additions, Noe said. “Sunrooms are the logical volume leader because a budget for a sun room is usually bigger than for a screen enclosure or a patio roof, but all three types of construction increased considerably for the company last year,” Noe said. Noe said the introduction this year of new pergola styles and lattice work already is boosting patio roof sales in 2013.

“Sales trends in 2013 are strong in both Broward and Miami-Dade, as well as in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County,” Noe added.

“Census.gov indicates that Oakland Park’s population continues to grow,” Noe said, “so it’s likely that sales opportunities there will grow too. Less than 10 percent of the population is age 65 or older – quite a bit lower than for the state overall. That means a potential for growth in family size.” Customers say family needs often trigger home expansion with solariums or patio enclosures, or pool enclosures, Noe explained.

Venetian opened a warehouse and fabrication facility at 5093 NE 12th Ave., Oakland Park, in 2012. A second office at that site is under construction. Venetian maintains its original metropolitan Miami office at 3912 Estepona Ave., Doral.

Other prime markets for Venetian Builders include Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Pembroke, Miami Gardens, Homestead, Deerfield Beach, Cooper City, Weston, Hollywood, Boynton Beach, the Keys and communities in between.
