Toledo, Ohio (PRWEB) March 14, 2013
On Wednesday, WTOL News reported an update on the tragic accident that killed six Ohio teens. One of the accident’s survivors, Brian Henry, spoke about the moments leading up to the crash. He explained the accelerated speed of the SUV on the roadway, adding that others in the vehicle made remarks of, “We are about to die,” as the Honda Passport then crashed into a guardrail and landed in a pond.
It was also reported by USA Today that Alexis Cayson, driver of the SUV, sped up while rounding “Dead Man’s Curve,” as she “played around while driving,” according to Henry. The accident survivor said that he thinks Cayson was driving erratically on purpose, but he isn’t sure why.
USA Today reported that drugs and alcohol were not found in the vehicle itself, and that Cayson offered the teens a ride home from a sleepover.
Attorney Charles Boyk said that with new details brought to light through the surviving passenger’s recount of the accident, things are becoming somewhat clear. Boyk stated that, “If investigators determine the cause of the accident to be Cayson’s erratic driving and negligence on the roadway, families will have an opportunity to pursue legal action.”
