Private Investigator give information on covert investigation services in light of BBC News article dated 12th March 2013: Howell’s School, Denbigh: head wins unfair dismissal case.

Cases can be interesting, demanding and quite diverse and in my professional opinion the case of Mr Routledge and Ms Price could have benefitted from a thorough investigation by a private detective.

According to the BBC News report Bernard Routledge was suspended and later sacked from his post of Head Teacher at Howell’s School after a disiplinary hearing by the brother of trustee Robbie Locke over inappropriate conduct with pupils online. It was found that Fifty year old Routledge had communicated with students on a page entitled, The Bernie Routledge Appreciation Society. Routledge’s partner Helen Price, head of PE and pastoral care also lost her job at the school because, she claims, of her association with Mr Routledge.

The report goes on to say that an employment tribunal in Shrewsbury (case number 1600374/12) chaired by Judge John Thomas found that there was no evidence of conduct justifying the dismissals. The tribunal found that both Mr Routledge and Ms Price had been unfairly dismissed and had suffered detriment as a result.
